AIS assists flood victims in the South. Both prepaid and postpaid customers in 48 districts located in 9 Southern provinces will receive additional 50 minutes of free call for 30 days.

Ms. Wilai Keangpradoo, Senior Vice President in Public Relations at Advanced Info Sercvice PLC or AIS, said, "Due to the severe flood happening in the Southern part of Thailand, AIS has been providing prompt assistance by extending overdue payment and postponing account termination for unpaid numbers. As the flood continues to affect higher numbers of Southern residents, AIS is extending support to its customers living in the 48 districts located in the 9 provinces affected by the flood including Nakorn Si Thammarat, Surat Thani, Chumphon, Trang, Narathiwat, Pattani, Pattalung, Yala, and Songkla. Both prepaid and postpaid AIS customers residing in the affected areas will receive an addition of 50-minute free call for 30 days effective today. AIS will send an SMS to notify the customers.

In addition, AIS is assigning extra engineers from Northeast and Central regions to work with the Southern team, closely monitoring the flood situation to ensure network stability and customer confidence.
