AIS Academy extends "Think in Advance" mission in partnership with Canadian embassy and CICan No limit for opportunities as Thai learners can study Canadian courses through LearnDi platform
AIS Academy strives to be a useful member of society by passing on know-how to Thais with a network of partnerships at both the national and international level. The Thai public thus gain opportunities to access up-to-date courses for their self-development which are consistent with global changes in context. Such efforts rely on the power of intelligent networks and digital tech, with the aim to extend AIS' "Think in Advance" mission. Thus came about the collaboration between AIS Academy and the Embassy of Canada to Thailand and Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) enabling study at leading Canadian institutions such as Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), McGill University, Athabasca University, Dalhousie University and Humber College. This is integrated with AIS Academy's platforms and technology such as LearnDi. Targets have been set to expand educational opportunities, by providing a borderless world for Thai people to enjoy unlimited self-development opportunities.
Kantima Lerlertyuttitham, Chief Human Resources Officer at AIS and the InTouch Group commented, "Changes in global contexts have impacted people's lifestyles and work processes from the perspective of business operations. AIS Academy is therefore focused on providing new knowledge by working with a range of partners in the educational sector. This provides Thais with the skills required in the modern world, which is in a state of constant flux. On this occasion, AIS is working with the Embassy of Canada and the Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan). World-class courses on offer include Agile Project Management Practice & Certification online, Accounting and Finance for Non- Accountants, Business writing for results, Communicating effectively, Conflict Management, Creating Engaged and Motivated Employees and Customer Relations.
"All of these courses are taught by leading Canadian educational institutions and brought to Thai learners by the capabilities of AIS Academy's Digital Learning Platforms such as LearnDi. These educational opportunities are like a borderless world for Thai people to enjoy unlimited self-development opportunities. This aligns with AIS Academy's mission to "Think in Advance" for the Thai public and wider society."
Mr. Sanjeev Chowdhury, Counsellor (Commercial) and Senior Trade Commissioner, Embassy of Canada said, "Canada greatly prioritizes education, and Canadian educational standards are widely recognized around the world. Degrees and certificates from Canadian colleges and universities guarantee that students have received a quality education with world-class standards. Our collaboration with AIS Academy will give Thai students access to Canadian teaching formats and systems. We believe that they can leverage the content obtained from leading Canadian institutions to improve their professional standing. They will gain new skill sets to be well-prepared for forthcoming changes. Learners also receive a certificate from the participating institution which can count as credits to pursue their education at that institution."
Ms. Denise Amyot, President / CEO, Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) added, "Canada's postsecondary education landscape includes colleges, universities, and many specialized institutes, many of which have global renown. Each one of Colleges and Institutes Canada's member institutions equips students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers. As a sector, we look forward to further collaborating to provide learning opportunities that fit the needs of Thai students."
