What are ADRs?
American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) are securities issued by a U.S. commercial bank (referred to as a “depositary bank”) that represent an established number of shares of a non-U.S. company’s equity. ADRs trade, settle and clear in the same manner as other U.S. securities.
