In addition, the Company would like to clarify the increase in net profit of Baht 1,304 million or 90% from the year 1998 of which net profit was Baht 1,446 million to Baht 2,750 million in year 1999, as follows: 1. The increase in revenue of Baht 3,373 million or 25% due to the increase in subscribers base from 980,000 in 1998 to 1,230,000 in 1999 while the cost of service increased Baht 1,560 million or 16%. 2. Company had increase in net investment in subsidiaries from Baht 129 million in 1998 to Baht 988 million in 1999 due to in 1998 the Company recognized only one of subsidiary's net income, Advanced Paging Co.,Ltd. which held by the Company of 60%, while in 1999, the Company realized subsidiaries's net income from 2 companies, which are Advanced Wireless Marketing Co., Ltd. and Advanced Paging Co., Ltd. which both companies are 100% held by the Company.
