Concurrently, the company would like to clarify the increase in net profit of Baht 884 Million in Quarter 3/1999 from net profit of Baht 143 Million in Quarter 3/1998 as follow: 1. Company has revenue from service in year 1999 of Baht 4,229 Million while in 1998 had revenue from service of Baht 3,248 Million, which increased from Quarter 3/1999 amount to Baht 981 Million since company has increased in customer base from mobile cellular services. 2. Company has net investment in subsidiaries increased from Baht 40 million in 1998 to Baht 229 Million in 1999 due to in 1998 the company recognized only one of its subsidiary's net income, Advanced Paging Co, Ltd (in 1998 recognized in the proportion of Share holding). While in 1999, the company realized two of its subsidiary's net income, which are Advance Wireless Marketing Co. Ltd and Advacnce Paging Co. Ltd ( in 1999 recognized 100%) 3. Company has decrease in gain from currency translation from Baht 562 Million in 1998 to Baht 87 Million in 1999 because of devaluation of the Baht.
