Advanced Info Service Plc would like to submit its Unauditted financial statement as of Quarter 3/1997 ended September 30,1997 and 1996 along with the summary of financial status and operation. Additionally, the decrease of quarter 3/1997 net profit from the same quarter of 1996 of more than 20% is due to the fact that the company had recorded the total loss from Foreign Exchange in quarter 3/1997 totaling Baht 573 Million which had recorded in 2 separate item as follow: 1. Loss on exchange included in the Selling and Administrative Expense of Baht 94 Million. 2. Adjustment of net effect derived from the change in exchange rate system amount Baht 335 Million (net of income tax effect of Baht 144 Million)
